What mobility aids can you provide?
All the equipment has a maximum user weight limit of 30 stone (190 kg), apart from the shower stools which are 15 stone.

All accessible staterooms feature a fixed shower bench in the wetroom as standard.
Please be aware there is no hire of ships wheelchairs available on any ship.
Bath benches in Grills Suites
QA - Bath benches are not suitable for any Q1- Q4 suites
QE - Bath benches are not suitable for any Q1 or Q2 suites.
QM2 - Bath benches are not suitable for any Q1-Q6 suites.
QV - 7051 only - Bath bench is not suitable for this suite.
Toilet seats
Toilet seats can vary between 42 - 48 cm high, this includes wheelchair accessible staterooms.
Handrails
Accessible staterooms have handrails which may be of use should guests require these facilities. For further information on the location of the handrails, please email accessibility@carnivalukgroup.com or alternatively please call the Partnership Helpdesk.
Unfortunately, we are unable to add any additional grab rails in the stateroom bathroom. We are unable to provide staterooms hoists, commodes or any other mobility equipment that is not listed above. Guests are not permitted to bring their own bed/mattress or other items of furniture on board due to the legislative requirements relating to fire of soft furnishings. All electrical items must comply with the requirements of each ship's supply. The supply on board all the ships is 220v / 110v / 60Hz.
Please note that the availability and specification of equipment may vary from ship to ship and that the guest or their travelling companion is responsible for keeping any requested items clean.
Wireless visual alert systems and textphones (Ameriphone system)
A limited number of wireless visual alert systems and textphones are available on board. The textphone system is subject to the availability of telephone lines on board. The textphone will also enable us to alert guests to any important announcements concerning their voyage and in the event of an emergency. Please note the visual alert system, will reduce surface space in the stateroom.
On Queen Mary 2 and Queen Anne, we can offer the amplified audio and call alerting system in the stateroom, however we are unable to provide a full teletype interface. This is because the telephone system on these ships is incompatible with our usual visual alert system (ameriphone).

- You must ensure to ask every guest “In the unlikely event of an emergency, would anyone on the booking need assistance?”. If they would require assistance, please add the relevant level of support to Polar Online using the "package list" option. If a guest is bringing a mobility scooter or wheelchair on board, you must add evacuation chair assistance for them. However, it’s not possible to add this resource to existing bookings. If this step is missed or needs to be added post-booking, please complete the Partnership Helpdesk Webform and we'll come back to you as soon as possible. For bookings sailing within the next six months, you should call the Partnership Helpdesk for urgent support.
- If the guest has mobility or accessibility requirements, they must complete their "Your on-board needs" questionnaire via My Cruise as soon as possible after booking and no later than two weeks before they sail. You can send them a reminder to do this by following this process guide.
