Can I pre-book dining?

Pre-booking a Speciality Restaurant Dining table

  • Currently, guests can pre-book dining from D-120 via My P&O Cruises.
  • Guests will pay for Speciality Dining at point of booking i.e. when they pre-purchase via My P&O Cruises.
  • There are some Speciality Dining venues which can only be booked once on board via My Holiday. If the dining venue is not pre-bookable via My P&O Cruises, it will read "Please enquire once on board".
  • Please be aware, the reservation will only show in the "My Orders" section for the guest who made the order, even if a guest made a reservation for multiple guests on the booking.
  • It will not be possible to book a table larger than six on My P&O Cruises. Please call the Customer Contact Centre for support with booking this.

Pre-booking inclusive dining (Arvia only)

  • Arvia offers guests the option to pre-book inclusive dining from D-14 via My P&O Cruises. Pre-booking is only available for evening dining. Breakfasts, lunches and afternoon teas can be taken at leisure or booked on board as always. Bookings can be changed at any time as required.
  • Guests travelling on Arvia can pre-book a shared table if they are happy to share with other guests.
  • Please note, guests are still able to book their evening dining once on board using the My Holiday booking system if they wish. Guests who prefer to keep things totally tech-free and flexible can walk-in their choice of venue and take a chance on a table being free. At peak times, we may need to give them a pager, so they can sit back and relax with a drink in the bar and we’ll let them know when a table is ready.

Prices and menus

The cost of the Speciality Restaurants can vary. Please see "What dining venues are on board and their menus?" for details.

Guests may cancel their reservation at any time. Any prepaid cover charge will be refunded in full to the payment card. There will be no cancellation charges if they cancel the reservation at least 24 hours prior the reservation time. If guests cancel less than 24 hours prior to the reservation time, they will be charged a cancellation fee of £10.00 per person. Any cancellation charges will be applied to the on-board account.

Please note: A non-refundable cancellation charge of £10 per person is payable for speciality dining reservations cancelled less than 24 hours before the reserved time. This charge also applies to each guest who does not show up for their reservation. Reservations will be held for up to 30 minutes after the scheduled time. After 30 minutes, the reservation will be cancelled and the cancellation charge will apply. All cancellation charges will be charged to the guest's onboard account.
