What can I suggest if the guest is travelling to Southampton independently to join the ship and their Arrival Time isn't available yet?

In some cases, a guest may drive, get a coach or fly to Southampton independently to join the ship and want to know their Arrival Time to make plans. If their Arrival Time isn't available yet, you can advise that check-in at Southampton could be any time between 11:30 and 16:00 (subject to delays) and their allocated time will be confirmed on My P&O Cruises from 21 days prior to departure.

We would advise guests to wait where possible until D-21 before confirming their independent travel arrangements, we know this is not always possible especially if guests are looking to book flights, coaches, trains, etc. If guests are wanting to book independent travel and do not want to wait until D-21 then we would advise that they aim to arrival at the terminal from 15:00 and if they are assigned an earlier arrival time they will be able to go straight into the terminal to check in or if it’s a later arrival time they will not have to wait too long.

It's important that guests check-in at their Arrival Time to avoid congestion in the terminal, if guests choose to arrive earlier then this the guest will be expected to either wait outside the terminal until their allotted arrival time is called or they can go into the Southampton City Centre where there’s lots to do whilst they wait.

You may find "When are luggage labels and Boarding Pass available?", "What is the check in process?" and "Can I pre-board my luggage?" helpful.
