These are now available on all Cunard ships on itineraries that are 4 nights or more with a minimum of 2 sea days.

Take a tour behind the scenes of your Cunard Queen, with exclusive access to selected crew areas and the opportunity to ask the crew all about life on board. From the ship’s galleys to the impressive bridge, this is your chance to experience a fascinating insight into how our incredible Queens operate. Be one of only a few guests who get to see behind the scenes of our amazing ships.
Behind the Scenes Tours (BtS tours) present guests with an exclusive opportunity to see and experience parts of the ship usually off limits to guests. Cunard have offered BtS tours (or Back of House Tours) across the fleet both pre and post-pandemic and is now being relaunched, you can find the full pack here.

 

How to book

  • The behind the scenes tours will be advertised in the Daily Programme and any digital signage across the ship.
  • Once these have been advertised, they can be booked directly at the Shore Experiences desk, where they will be shown tour descriptions and outline any participant requirements before they book, including waivers and health declarations.
  • Guests will then receive a letter to confirm their place and advise of meeting points, dates and times.

 

Important information

  • Tours can be booked on board at the Tour Office or Purser’s Desk for $120, charged on board.
  • Tours will be approximately 3 hours long.
  • No phones or cameras can be taken on the tour
  • A health declaration and consent form must be completed prior to tour
  • Guests must be able to walk/stand for the whole time, stairs and uneven surfaces will be experienced.
  • Spaces are limited with a group size to be set at minimum 6, maximum 16 and will be for over 18s only.
  • Tours will not be offered if the ship is at an elevated health level (L2 or above) and maybe be changed/cancelled if amber or red manning is required on the Bridge or ECR.
  • Tour will visit Theatre, Bridge, ECR, Hotel Stores, Laundry, Galley, Mooring Deck – subject to safety requirements and availability.

Cunard doesn't offer the opportunity for guests without a booking to board the ships.
