Luggage is not bonded - when they arrive at their destination they will need to pass through immigration, collect their luggage from Baggage Reclaim then proceed through to Arrivals. If they booked their flight through Cunard and are arriving on the day of sailing, or have booked a hotel stay through us, there will be a Cunard representative to meet them who will give them instructions for joining their coach transfer to the cruise terminal.

Hold Baggage – 23kg per person
Hand Baggage - 10kg per person. Maximum dimensions are 55cm x 40cm x 20cm.
Infants – Full Hold/Hand baggage allowance. Can take pushchair/car seat additionally free of charge.

Hand luggage

To ensure that guests don’t carry any restricted items through airport security, We recommend that they visit gov.uk/hand-luggage-restrictions for the most up to date information and advice.
Please note that all information is subject to change and Cunard has no control over such restrictions.
Wherever possible, guests should pack liquids in hold luggage and containers taken in hand luggage must not hold more than 100ml. Liquids include (and are not limited to) all drinks, some foods, pastes, make-up, medicines and a variety of other solutions.
The UK government has advised that guests must ensure that any electronic devices taken on board a flight in hand luggage are fully charged before embarking the aircraft. If guests are unable to demonstrate that their phone or other electronic device can be switched on, they risk having the device confiscated at the airport which could also result in them missing their flight. Guests are also advised to switch on their electronic devices before they reach the security check areas to cut down on potential delays.

Medication and needles

If guests need to carry medication, insulin, needles or a pen injection device on board the aircraft, please ensure that they complete a "Your on board needs" questionnaire on My Cunard. Guests should consider the following:

Insulin should be carried as hand luggage and not in the aircraft hold where it may become frozen.
Insulin and all other medicines should be identifiable, preferably in its original packing.
Guests should carry a prescription or a supporting written statement from their doctor to avoid problems with security or customs.
Most airlines are able to provide a sharps box on board for disposal of needles, lancets, syringes or empty insulin cartridges. Should guests require a sharps box, they should speak to the cabin crew on board.
There are no conventional fridges on board the aircraft. Should guests need to take medication which needs to be stored in a cool place, we would recommend they bring a cool bag with them. Airlines may be able to provide additional ice on board.

Sports equipment

Golf clubs should be arranged with the airline at least seven days prior to departure
Guests may bring scuba equipment of up to 5kg in their hold luggage, providing they have a valid scuba qualification or PADI certificate. Please contact Flights regarding this as the airline must be notified.

Weddings

Guests flying with TUI to get married on one of our ships are entitled to an additional hold luggage allowance of 5kg per person. This allowance applies to the wedding couple only and wedding dresses can't be carried as hand luggage. Please contact Flights regarding this as the airline must be notified.
If guests are getting married on-board and are travelling with TUI, enter an "AR" SSV remark to state - "wedding 5kgs extra luggage" for the wedding couple as required.
