Le Gavroche with Michel Roux
Michelin-starred chef Michel Roux will be bringing back his iconic London restaurant, Le Gavroche, to guests on Queen Anne and Queen Mary 2.
The series will begin with Le Gavroche at The Verandah on board Queen Mary 2 for her M415 sailing to Hardangerfjord on 02 June. Michel will then host a second residency aboard Queen Mary 2 for her Hamburg roundtrip Fjords voyage, M424, on 06 August. This will cater for 60 guests each evening.
Continuing in June, Michel will deliver another intimate, five-night takeover with Le Gavroche at Sir Samuels on board Queen Anne as she departs for her H419 sailing to Norway on 11 August. This exclusive dining experience will cater for 50 guests each night. The fourth takeover will take place onboard Queen Anne’s H422 sailing, on 01 September.
During these voyages, Michel will also appear as an Insight Speaker in the Royal Court Theatre, regaling guests with stories from his illustrious 40-plus-year career in the hospitality industry.
Le Gavroche with Michel Roux 2025
In 2023 Cunard launched a multi-year partnership with two Michelin-starred chef Michel Roux comprising of menu development for our new ship Queen Anne and a series of exclusive residencies on board both Queen Anne and Queen Mary 2 where Roux brings the cuisine of famed restaurant Le Gavroche to sea.
Michel Roux’s expertise and experience were chosen as the perfect culinary partner for Cunard due to his focus on produce, provenance, and perfection across the dining experience. His association with, and passion for, traditional Norwegian gastronomy meant our Norwegian Fjord voyages provided the ideal setting for his Le Gavroche at Sea residency.
The Norwegian Fjords with Michel Roux returns in 2025 on board Queen Mary 2 in April and August and Queen Anne in May and September. This exclusive experience extends beyond the kitchen with Cunard Insights talks, cooking demos and book signings.

Le Gavroche at Sea will take place across five nights. On Queen Mary 2 this will take place at The Verandah and on Queen Anne in Sir Samuels. There is one sitting per evening starting at 6.00pm.
How to book:
Le Gavroche at Sea will cost $200 per person and can be pre-booked via My Cunard approx. six months prior to departure. Some capacity will be held off sale to allow guests to book on board. An optional wine pairing will also be available to book during the dining experience.
