Is there a cancellation charge for Shore Experience/Excursions?

Cancelling shore excursions on Voyage Personaliser

Should you wish to cancel a shore excursion you can do so via Voyage Personaliser.  Cancellations can be made via the Voyage Personaliser no later than 3 days to departure. A full refund will be applied to the credit/debit card used to make the original payment. There may, however, be shore excursions that are non-refundable or incur a cancellation penalty or have an earlier cancellation deadline; details of this will be contained in the tour description.

Cancelling 3 days prior to departure

f you wish to cancel within 3 days of departure please speak to your on board Shore Excursion representative who will be able to assist, cancellations cannot be made via the Voyage Personaliser within this time period.

Cancelling on board

Once on board, if you wish to cancel your shore excursions before the cancellation deadline (generally 48 hours prior to the arrival in port) a 10% cancellation fee will be applied to your on board account and the full amount paid will be refunded to your original credit/debit card.

Cancelling due to medical reason

If the tour ticket is stamped by the Ship's Doctor then you will receive a refund.

We regret that we are unable to refund the cost of excursions that are cancelled by guests after the cancellation deadline. If you do wish to cancel your shore excursion after the cancellation deadline we will credit the original credit/debit card with the full amount paid however, a 100% cancellation fee will be posted to your on board account. In order to process any cancellations tickets must be returned to the on board Shore Excursions Office.

If the shore excursion that you wish to cancel was booked on board, a credit will be applied to your on board account, minus any cancellation penalty. In most cases, the 'Essential Information' section of the shore excursion description will indicate where a shore excursion is not eligible for a refund.

If you book two shore excursions on the same day, we would recommend you leave at least one hour between your excursions returning to the ship in the morning and leaving in the afternoon.  This would be at your own risk and refunds would not be made if your morning shore excursion is delayed by traffic and you miss the afternoon departure.

All shore excursions require a minimum participation, which if not achieved, may mean the excursion will be cancelled. In this event an alternative may be offered. We reserve the right to cancel or amend shore excursions prior to commencement for any other reason, including upon operational or commercial grounds, in which case we will make any refunds to your credit/ debit card if booked in advance or your on board account if booked on board. Should any excursion have to be abandoned or amended after setting off, the best possible on board credit will be arranged according to the circumstances.

Please note some Private Experiences may be subject to alternative cancellation policies and fees which will be advised at the time of booking.
