What activities are available on board?


You’ll never be bored on board. From relaxing to energetic, we’ve plenty of pastimes to choose from. You could take a dip in the pool or whirlpool spa, listen to a guest speaker, take part in a quiz, try a dance lesson, join a fitness class, work out in the gym, watch/play in a sports tournament, watch a movie, get pampered in the spa and so much more.  Of course, you may just prefer to relax on deck with a cocktail and a book; you can do as much or as little as you like to fill your day. On port days you can still take advantage of a number of activities.

Please refer to your Daily Programme each day for the full listing of all entertainment and activities being offered throughout the day and night.

Will there be an opportunity for ballroom dancing on board?

 Options for this will vary on the dress code for the evening, with provision as follows:

  • Smart Attire Evenings – The night club on board will offer pre-recorded music for those who wish to enjoy it.  The Queens Room will be set up as a lounge with additional tables and seating on the dance floor and great music from Alchemy and other guest entertainers.
  • Gala Attire Evenings – With our resident orchestra playing a wonderful blend of contemporary and traditional arrangements, the Queens Room will be available for ballroom dancing.  The Yacht Club will revert to a lounge for the evening with additional seating and tables on the dance floor.


Will there be dance classes?

We will be offering a number of options for dance instruction on board our ships, including ballroom & Latin, line dancing and Zumba®.


Will there be live music?

 Yes, there will be a vast range of live music on your voyage, from our headline cabaret artistes in the Royal Court Theatre to our resident orchestras, versatile and talented cocktail pianists to classical stringed trios, and more…you’ll be sure to be spoilt for choice.


Will daytime activities like arts and crafts still go ahead?

 All activities will run in accordance with the latest guidelines and with our new protocols in place to protect the health and well-being of all our guests and crew. These will be scheduled throughout your voyage, hosted, and advertised in the Daily Programme.


What indoor games can I play on board?

Unfortunately organised card games such as bridge are currently suspended in line with our health and well-being protocols, however there are a variety of popular board games available to borrow.


Can I play sport on board?

 A number of our sporting areas will be open for play, with equipment provided and a cleaning/sanitising station positioned close by.  In accordance with current social distancing guidelines, there will be no organised sporting tournaments or competitions.
