Can I pre-purchase specific seats on my flights?

British Airways  (BA)

You will be able to pre-purchase seats from approximately 30 days before travel if you have received your ‘airline locator’ (airline booking reference). To pre-book your seats, please visit ‘Manage My Booking’ on the British Airways website and follow the instructions. Please note that additional charges may apply.

If you have not received an airline locator, then you will be booked on one of our British Airways group flights, and we will reserve your flight seats approximately four days prior to departure. If you have any specific requests, please contact our Customer Contact Centre who will be able to assist you.
