The irrepressible, award-winning wine expert and passionate foodie, Olly Smith heads up The Glass House restaurant and bar with P&O Cruises. You might recognise him as the regular wine expert on BBC’s Saturday Kitchen.

In The Glass House, he brings the world of wine to you – varieties from all four corners of the globe, by the glass, by the bottle, and if you fancy, by a plate of fabulous food. There are also helpful suggestions in the menu on how best to match your chosen wine with the food you order.

The Glass House is now available on Iona, too! You can even join Olly on an authentic foodie experience ashore when travelling on Iona.

Discover the well-honed techniques of the master brewers, marvel at the mechanics that distil the good stuff, and delight in the natural flavours.

Olly’s passion for a tipple is sure to bubble over – expect infectious enthusiasm and boundless knowledge – feel free to fire away with your most complex questions. A small craft brewery, the team at 7 Fjell are passionate about great ale, and have decades of industry experience behind them. Their mantra is “less mass production - more taste and passion”. And what exactly does that passion taste like you say? Well, with Olly you’ll have the opportunity to savour all of the glorious flavours brewed into seven of their craft ales, from sweet to citrusy and spicy – alongside perfectly paired eats such as dates, meatballs, and scampi with aioli. “Skål” (cheers) to that!
