What facilities are at the cruise terminals in Southampton?

At Ocean Cruise terminalCity Cruise TerminalMayflower Cruise Terminal & Queen Elizabeth II Terminal you will find the following facilities:

  • Taxi rank
  • Public toilets
  • Wheelchair access
  • Short stay visitor car park within the dock (paid facility where "Parking Eye" is in use)
  • Long stay valet car parking within the dock (cars may not always be parked at the terminal but taken to a secure location nearby)
  • Lounge area
  • A café where refreshments can be purchased prior to embarkation
  • Lift and escalator - lifts and escalators are required at both Mayflower and City in order to board the ship
  • Vending machines
  • Complimentary magazine stalls
  • Ligurian Tier guests and suite guests only – an exclusive hospitality lounge serving complimentary soft drinks and snacks


Please note, there are few facilities for guests arriving early (for example there are no Duty Free or souvenir shops). We kindly ask that you adhere as closely as possible to the Arrival Time on your e-ticket.

Friends and family waving goodbye

There is no viewing gallery at City Cruise Terminal, however a great spot for friends and family to wave goodbye, is at Mayflower Park or Town Quay.


Unfortunately, there is not a recommended viewing area to see off ships from Queen Elizabeth II terminal.
